ME LED Sight Glass Luminaire Overview
The ME LED Sight Glass Luminaire is a hygienic industrial lighting solution developed specifically for screwed sight glass fittings according to DIN 11851 and similar dairy-type connections. Unlike conventional flange-mounted luminaires, the ME LED is secured directly to the screwed sight glass fitting using a specially designed slotted cover nut, creating a compact combination of sight glass and illumination.
Manufactured from polished stainless steel, the luminaire offers excellent corrosion resistance and is particularly suitable for hygienic process industries. Its high-efficiency LED module provides bright, natural white illumination with minimal heat generation, allowing operators to clearly observe product flow, mixing, filling levels, and cleaning processes.
The ME LED is widely used in food processing, dairy production, breweries, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, laboratory equipment, and sanitary process systems.
